  Installing Dial-Up Networking
This page is designed to help members install Dial-Up Networking for their VISP Internet connection, only use this page if you do not have Dial-Up Networking installed on your computer.
   
 
  • Start by double clicking on the icon marked 'My Computer' on the desktop.
  • Next, double click on the icon marked 'Control Panel'.
  • You will see the 'Control Panel' appear on your monitor, you will need to find the icon marked 'Add/Remove Programs' and Double Click on it. 
  • You will now see the 'Add/Remove Programs Properties' screen appear, click on the 'Windows Setup' tab on the top of the window, then you need to find 'Communications' and Double click on it.
  • You will now see a window, if you do not have a tick next to 'Dial-Up Networking' you will need to click on the small square to the left of 'Dial-Up Networking', after doing this a tick should appear, once you see this you can use your mouse to click on the button marked 'Ok' and then click on 'Ok' again.
  • Windows 95 will now prompt you to restart you computer before changes will take effect, you will need to restart your computer to make sure 'Dial-Up Networking' is properly installed.
